The Arizona Technology Council urged Governor Jan Brewer to veto SB 1062 in a letter signed by more than 80 members of the business community including other trade associations.
If the law is passed, it would enable business owners to cite their religious beliefs in refusing to provide service to certain people. The Council believes that this is discriminatory and would lead to detrimental economic impact to the state.
