Four Indian Americans Bag Heinz Awards and $250,000


Four Indian Americans bagged this year's Heinz Awards namely: Leila Janah, Dr. Abraham Verghese, Dr. Sanjeev Arora, and Salman Khan.

The Heinz awards, established by Teresa Heinz and the Heinz Family Foundation to honor the memory of the late U.S. Senator John Heinz, present the "imagination, determination, brilliance and creativity of the people among us who see possibility where others see only barriers."
