KansasCity.com reports that the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation has appointed Deborah Wilkerson to succeed Laura McKnight as its chief executive of the philanthropic organization. McKnight worked in the foundation for 11 years and has headed it for the last six.
The community foundation was established in 1978 and has since grown to house assets of $1.16 billion in about 3,000 individual funds. The philanthropic accounts support grants to the nonprofit community.Read the Entire Article
