Dedicated State Funding Source for Programs Would Help Florida Homeless


The Florida Association of Counties supports the creation of a dedicated state funding source to provide more shelters and services for the homeless.

In its 2014 roster of proposed legislation, a dedicated state funding source is needed so that "certain funds from the Local Government Housing Trust Fund" be used for "challenge grants" for homeless services.
