Two Anoka Organizations Continue to Fight Homelessness

Stepping Stone Emergency Housing and Hope4Youth nonprofit are both working to curtail the growing homelessness in suburban Anoka County, particularly homeless youth.

Despite a temporary ban on new shelters, Anoka Mayor Phil Rice was impressed with the way Stepping Stone and Hope4Youth are looking for other ways to meet a countywide need.

New social enterprise, I.M.P.A.C.T Northeast CIC, has moved its headquarters smack dab in Sunderland city. I.M.P.A.C.T is set up at the University of Sunderland’s Enterprise Place and offers services to schools and local communities.
