The Chronicle of Philanthropy relates Financial Times' article about British charity shops branching into online retail, offering new and used goods on eBay.

In the year 2011, sales by its charities rose to 56 percent amounting to $10 million. Head of charity for British eBay, Lorin May, says charities are coming to eBay as buyers pay a higher price online.
