Mother Invents the Upsee that Helps Her Wheelchair-Bound Son and Other Physically Disabled Kids

Debby Elnatan, a music therapist, wanted to help her son with cerebral palsy. She designed a support harness that would enable her son to stand upright and, by attaching it to herself, they are able to take steps together.

The invention is called the Firefly Upsee where it's now on sale globally via Northern Ireland-based manufacturer Leckey. The invention could turn the lives around of thousands of physically-impaired children around the world.
