Beth McDonald Stepped Down as Host For Catholic Event

Valley radio personality Beth McDonald stepped down as host for the Catholic Community Foundation Crozier Gala after her support to the gay community was considered at odds with the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Community Foundation said in its statement that they regretfully accept McDonald's decision to step down, although she can't participate in the Phoenix Gay Pride Parade because of scheduling problems.
