According to a new study, children who are disadvantaged but have attended quality early childhood education programs, including healthcare and nutrition, have significantly improved health as adults.
The Abecedarian program renders cognitive and socio-emotional stimulation, along with primary pediatric care and nutrition to disadvantaged children. The study was spearheaded by researchers from UCL (University College London), the University of Chicago and the University of North Carolina.
