The states and Commonwealth in Australia have entered into a national agreement to address homelessness.
The homelessness agreement will be extended with a $115 million funding from the Coalition. According to Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews, the new funding will provide the sector "peace of mind" but also buys the government time to plan an overhaul of housing policy.
Village Capital announced the winners of the $50,000 prize awarded to social entrepreneurs who don’t “self-define as social entrepreneurs”. The winners didn’t start out thinking of themselves as social enterprises.
