Little Italy in Erie to Get $412,899 Grant Boost

A Little Italy neighborhood in Eriewill get a $412,899 state grant to improve its new sidewalks and lighting along West 18th Street, between Sassafras and Cherry streets.

Erie has entered into a grant contract with the state's Department of Community and Economic Development. Little Italy has received Elm Street status under the state's Keystone Communities Program, which utilizes state money to help revitalize neighborhoods.
