Advocates of Cancer Care Rally Congress to Stop Sequester Cut to Cancer Drugs

Cancer care advocates and physicians across the U.S. are rallying Congress lawmakers to stop the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from executing the sequester cut to Medicare payments for cancer care drugs as part of a "Virtual Hill Day" supported by The US Oncology Network and the Community Oncology Alliance (COA).

Medicare sequester cuts to cancer drugs will heighten the country's cancer care crisis, limit patient access to community-based care and hike up Medicare costs.
