The Character Counts Mid-Shore has received funding from the Nathan Foundation that would support character education programs in Dorchester County.
Susan Luby, executive director of Character Counts Mid-Shore said that they are grateful for the continued confidence and support of the Nathan Foundation to fund their programs as they do not receive any funds from the school system or any level of government.

New social enterprise, I.M.P.A.C.T Northeast CIC, has moved its headquarters smack dab in Sunderland city. I.M.P.A.C.T is set up at the University of Sunderland’s Enterprise Place and offers services to schools and local communities.
