Ridgefield Education Foundation Announces Grant Recipients


The Reidgefield Education Foundation announced the recipient of their grants last June 11, 2012. The grants are awarded based on the following criteria: the ability to move education forward; and the ability to innovate, create, enrich, and collaborate qualities.

The winners of the award are Digital Art Tablets for Every Computer Art Student, Wireless Tablet Computer Integration in the Classroom, Skype with Authors, and Share a Story.

The Larder Cook School in West Lothian is a social enterprise that trains young people for a career in the food business. Recently, the school has launched a crowdfunder to help it teach another 80 students a year.
