The Bibliomotocarro: Sharing the Love of Books with Kids of Basilicata

Antonio La Cava, a retired school teacher who grew up in Ferrandina, developed a motorized library to share his love of books with the children of Basilicata.

He makes it his mission to promote reading in every corner of Basilicata through his library on three wheels, which shelves around 1200-1300 volumes that he bought himself. He wheels around the provinces of Matera and Potenza seeking to deliver good books to local children and help them hone their reading skills.
