Washington County to Receive Extra Federal Funds for Housing Projects


Washington County has been approved to receive nearly $919,000 in federal housing funds, which is $100,000 more from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The funds aim to support projects that will help low-income or special-need residents. For Washington County, the funds will be allocated for redevelopment, senior housing, food shelf and administrative needs.
