Grants Secure Combination Ovens for DeSoto County School District


With the matching grant up to $20,000 from the Mississippi Office of Healthy Schools and the Bauer Foundation, the staff at Southaven Intermediate and Olive Branch Middle of DeSoto County school district will have the versatile cafeteria as they have completed the installation of two combination ovens.

Child Nutrition Director Cynthia Coleman said that they're trying to get all the fryers out of the schools to show their commitment to health and wellness.
