Vermont Inmates Build Motorcycle to Support Homeless Veterans

Vermont prison inmates is building a motorcycle to be auctioned to support homeless veterans, an effort that's part of the Department of Corrections' motorcycle program --a partnership with Green Mountain Harley Davidson in Essex Junction.

The motorcycle was built by inmates at the Community High School of Vermont at the Northwest State Correctional Facility in Swanton. It's being raffled off to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, where the proceeds go to the Vermont Veterans Place in Northfield, a support shelter for homeless vets.
