How Do You Grow Green In a City Vacant Lot?

The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) takes off its newest community development initiative called the Growing Green project.

The project will whip the city's vacant lots into shape. Under NORA's Growing Green program, anyone can apply to lease a vacant lot and transform it into a community garden or urban farm for $250 a year.
