These projects include: Protoprint - an ethical 3D printer filament founded in early 2013 by Sidhant Pai, an environmental engineering student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); Amsterdam's Canal House - claimed to be the world's first 3D-printed house; and WASP - a team of Italian-based 3D printer enthusiasts popular for their PowerWasp 3D printer that's intended to create affordable housing among the poorest corners of the world.
