One Man Envisions the World as Being More Connected and Sustainable


Daan Roosegaarde, the famous Dutch innovator and founder of social design lab Studio Roosegaarde, wants to create a more connected, sustainable world, which ignites from his obsession with the relationship between people and their surroundings.

As an artist, he created the visually appealing Smart Highway and the Smog Project, which are designed to solve real-life problems such as energy-consuming streetlights and pollution. According to Daan, all his projects attempt to "merge the virtual world and the real world into one."
