The city of Philadelphia is breaking down years of mental illness stigma by spreading awareness and offering support in a simple, inspiring way: by promising to listen.

The city has introduced its first-ever #IWillListen Day, when locals participated in a citywide discussion on mental health by pledging via social media to listen to others, without judgment.
