The University of Nebraska Foundation has recently handed out over $760,000 in grants to support the university system's study-abroad programs and to purchase new medical research equipment.
A $235,000 grant was given to the university system's Lincoln campus, its Kearney campus received $134,000, the Omaha campus $115,000, the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha received $142,000 and its central administration received $137,000.
