On the outskirts of Katmandu, Nepal, more than 2,000 people, mostly students, got together to set a world record for the largest tree hug.
On World Environment Day, June 5, the participants have gathered in a park, hoping to spreading awareness about the importance of trees. Parliament member Rajan K.C enthused, "We are gathered here in our attempt to save the forests and make people aware that trees and forests are important for human civilization."
