History Professor Releases New Book on Homelessness


Armstrong Atlantic State University Assistant Professor of Urban History and material culture Dr. Ella Howard publishes her new book, "Homeless: Poverty and Place in Urban America".

The book provides a deeper understanding of homelessness, the problems that cause it, and the efforts supplied by politicians and social workers to suppress homelessness and poverty. Through its pages, "Homeless" also gives insight on modern America's welfare system.
