Economic Development and Collaboration for the Arts

Local arts organizations and economic development, tourism and government representatives were brought together to address ways on how to collaborate on future events and activities that could propel more people throughout the state to Garden City.

One goal is to identify ways on how to make the community more vital by improving downtown. State grants are available for arts programs, but other goals for applying for those grants is to secure community involvement and collaboration on projects "having a broader appeal and that would generate tourism or enhance economic development for the community."
