Fort Wayne to Receive $33 Million for Economic Development Projects

The city of Fort Wayne will secure $33 million in federal funding for future economic development projects.

Fort Wayne was the only city in Indiana to receive the New Markets Revitalization Fund from the US Department of the Treasury. The Fund will enable investors to acquire tax credits and allow the city to help finance eligible commercial projects. Projects should have a positive impact on the community as a whole.
