CharterBank Awards $5,000 to Local Groups


The Charter Foundation awarded $5,000 grants to three organizations after garnering the highest vote totals in the CharterBank Customer Voting program.

The grant recipients are the following: the Lee County Habitat for Humanity, the Lee County Humane Society and the Beauregard High School band.

Social investment arm of The Big Issue magazine, Big Issue Invest (BII), has loaned £75,000 to a Salford-based social enterprise, Social adVentures, to help it acquire a local day care nursery – Cheeky Monkeys.
