Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius declares the 27 beneficiaries of the new Strong Start for Mothers and Newborns awards.
The Strong Start for Mothers and Newborns initiative plans to lower preterm births and enhance outcomes for newborns and pregnant women. The awards will be situated in 32 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
