Mathematician Carlos Castillo-Chavez leads a program that influences and engages diverse groups of students to STEM at the high school level.
This program is modeled to accelerate minorities to majorities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Castillo-Chavez will be speaking at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting in Boston to discuss his strategic program for the benefit of student minorities.
