Study shows that billions of people around the world still don't have access to electricity. hazardous and costly kerosene lamps are the lighting staples in these developing countries.

To serve as an alternative, designers have created cheap solar lanterns One of the latest lighting innovations use plastic water bottles to help reduce the additional cost. An infrastructure-free lantern, created by Turkey-based firm Designnobis called Infinite Light is a ready-to-use package that can be placed in a discarded plastic bottle.
