To serve as an alternative, designers have created cheap solar lanterns One of the latest lighting innovations use plastic water bottles to help reduce the additional cost. An infrastructure-free lantern, created by Turkey-based firm Designnobis called Infinite Light is a ready-to-use package that can be placed in a discarded plastic bottle.
