SRPMIC Indian Community Gives Props To Action Done By U.S. Senators John McCain, Jeff Flake

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) President, Diane Enos, has lauded the actions of Arizona Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake for backing up the federal legislation entitled Keep the Promise Act of 2014.

The legislation mandates the prohibition of Indian casinos on newly acquired tribal trust lands in the Phoenix metropolitan area. According to Enos, this important legislation will reaffirm the tribal state gaming policy that was approved by the voters in Arizona in 2002.
