A summit planned by local community groups is a two-day training designed to foster civic engagement and participation among Anaheim's youth.

The organizers of the summit to be held at the Anaheim High School, claimed that the event "seeks to educate youth with an introduction to civics and how the government works, and provide opportunities for youth to become civically engaged in Anaheim through experiential learning."
