Parents Involve in Civic Engagement


Three Hispanic parents encourage people in the community to participate in sport initiatives for their families and kids. These parents, who belong to the Family Support group, kicks off their Youth Indoor Soccer League to improve soccer in Marshall and continue to offer soccer skills to the children during winter.

The three-parent committee is the coaches and referees for the games. The Family Support Group is to get parents working together and create an advisory board that will get the parents to commit to various projects, events and programs within the community.
