Supplemental Program Offers Services to Women, Infants and Children

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) presents additional and supportive healthful provisions, nutrition education, and recommendations to other health, welfare, and social services. The WIC program is only available to infants, children (ages 1 to 4), pregnant and post-partum low-wage women.

The program applies the 2010 Census data for the approximation of WIC eligible would-be recipients among the various states and other territories the Census covers.
