Affordable Care Act Implements Health Profession Opportunity Grants


The Affordable Care Act confirms the Health Profession Opportunity Grants (HPOG) program for eligible Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) beneficiaries.

The program presents training for low-income individuals and families to assist them in pursuing in-demand healthcare careers. During its first year of funding, HPOG kicked off their programs and trained a number of participants.
