Meet The AmeriCorps Volunteer Keen On Changing People\'s Lives


Tasha Evans, a former kindergarten teacher, has been serving as a LISC AmeriCorps member in Newport, R.I, where she already has helped many homeless and low-income residents gain employment.

Evans' plans is to find more sustainable, long-term employment for residents and decent transportation access for employed residents in bringing them to and from work.
