Roanoke-based TAP Gets Federal Grants To Help Homeless Veterans


Roanoke-based Total Action for Progress will be getting funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in an effort to end veteran homelessness.

A total of $11.3 million grants will be administered by the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program that will be allocated among a dozen nonprofits in Virginia to aid homeless and at-risk veterans.
