The Silvis Home Run 5K marathon, part of the Silvis, Illinois' Family Day, which continued into the night with the 13th Annual Moonlight Festival, has successfully garnered funds to help kids, firefighters and improve economic development.
The proceeds from the race will go to four groups – Silvis Little League, the Silvis Fire Department Brotherhood, Silvis Main Street, and the American Heartland Softball Organization.
