Governor Terry Branstad and Iowa State University's (ISU) Steven Leath joined officials on breaking ground on the new segment of ISU's Research Park.
The Research Park is ISU's Economic Development Core Facility declared as a "one stop shop" to campus for businesses seeking technology or expertise from the state. The building, which would be able to hold 100 employees and is set to open in 2016, will work as a catalyst for economic development.
