Medicaid, A Key Player in Vermontís Health Care Reforms


Vermont Medicaid covers most health care services in Vermont. Under Vermont Blueprint for Health, most Medicaid's eligible recipients will be provided by medical homes with community health programs in 2013.

Medicaid offers economical or free coverage for low-wage individuals and families that include children, young adults under age 21, parents, pregnant women, people with disabilities and senior citizens.
