ALERT: Creating Healthy Communities As Part Of Energy\'s Future


The ALERT Project, which consists of scientists, health care professionals, and concerned citizens who have years of experience dealing with the human health and the costs of oil dependency, provides what people want in order to protect their families, homes, land, and health.

ALERT establishes a model that includes a hub of trainers with regional "spokes" in locations at risk of exposure. ALERT's initial projects will focus on tackling fracking and tar sands corridors and Gulf Coast communities damaged by 2010's BP disaster.
