Students for Soldiers Volunteer At Homeless Shelter To Give Back To The Veteran Community


Boston College's Students for Soldiers is a non-partisan service and advocacy organization where its members volunteer at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans (NECHV).

The NECHV is situated near Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston. Its faculty advisor, Michael Lorenz, who works for the Office of Residential Life, is a war veteran himself. According to co-founder Benjamin Lockhart, "The organization was founded to give back to people who sacrifice so much and have given so much."
