The National Health Service Corps is sponsoring a grant program which offers loan repayments to medical students (MD and DO) who are in their last year of school.
In order to be eligible for the grants, the students in return should commit to provide primary care health services in eligible Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) of greatest need. Up to $120,000 in loan repayment assistance will be awarded.
