Study Shows Alcohol Consumption Prevalent Worldwide

A part of the 2010 Global Burden of Disease study, a research conducted by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) finds that alcohol causes a worldwide affliction of disease and injury.

Unhealthy drinking of alcohol results into 200 different diseases and injuries, the research shows. The study also summarizes the outcomes from population surveys, sales or production data, and alcohol consumption data not covered in official records, from around the world.
