The Plainfield Foundation for Excellence will support District 202 high school juniors to widen their academic horizons through its second annual Horizon Grant program.
The grants are available to students from all four District 202 high schools and Plainfield Academy, the district’s alternative high school. The Foundation launched the Horizon Grants last year as part of an effort to help boost academic innovation for District 202 students.

The Larder Cook School in West Lothian is a social enterprise that trains young people for a career in the food business. Recently, the school has launched a crowdfunder to help it teach another 80 students a year.
