Boys Town Nevada Receives $2 Million Grant from the Engelstad Family Foundation


The Engelstad Family Foundation awards a two-year, $2 million grant to Boys Town Nevada to support and expand family based services.

A chunk of the grant will support collaboration between the Latin Chamber of Commerce, Boys Town, Clark County School District, Boys and Girls Club, and the Latin Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation. The collaboration will hook up with community service providers in an effort to impact the educational support and outcomes for students in a certain area.

Co-founders William Mann and David Mravyan devised the Sensimat during a mandatory project for their MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada. Sensimat is a device that helps manage and assess pressure among wheelchair users.
