One of the Iowa West Foundationís primary focus areas is community development. There are three other primary focus areas of the foundation that include education, economic development, and human and social needs.

Over the years, Iowa West meets the needs for neighborhood revitalization, streetscape improvements, public art development, and supporting community development initiatives through partnerships.
