North Dakota Communities to Get $266,850 in State Funds

Five North Dakota communities will land their share of the $266,850 in federal funds for economic development.

The U.S. Economic Development Administration awards the funds which will be used for stable planning initiatives to attract jobs and opportunities in Mandan, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Fargo and on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Reservation.

Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
